When we were designing the Federalist-style Clubhouse for The Wyndgate Country Club, we wanted authenticity, beauty, and grandeur. Much of the wood design demanded extremely skilled craftsmen. We needed someone who could work with the ultra-dense Jarrah wood used to panel the men's grille..., someone who could make the intricate trim work detail which is different in each area..., someone who could create distinctive cabinetry..., and someone who knew how to construct the complex radii and ellipticals designed in the paneling, cabinetry, and trim work. And, if that were not already a lot, we needed a shop large enough to provide all this in the time constraints required.

This letter is long overdue, but the quality of the work I see going in at Eastpointe is motivating me to write. I continue to be very impressed with the work your company produces. The finish of the oak components for the kitchen and butler's pantry are truly beautiful and a testament to your commitment to working closely with the designer to develop and refine material selections and complex finishes. As you know, Andy Balwinski has provided excellent support for getting the finish right; we started developing this from a rather unclear photo of the finish and with sampling, even a fine tuning session in the shop with Tom Riching, have achieved a really rich project. The same is occurring with the veneer work in the library. I'm excited by the quality of the veneer and waiting for the latest sample to review.
