A new lobby area at the Detroit Institute of Arts now features a large, curved greeting and sales desk with an adjacent storage and display cabinet. There is also a small security desk to the side of the room.
Daiek Woodworks created the furniture with curved panels and custom veneer work in tiger maple. There are also sets of doors that match the veneers.
