Excellence in Veneer Work by Daiek
Attention to detail means everything in veneer and panel work.
Daiek Woodworks has the experience to create visual impact with excellence in contrasting specie, grain matching, production and finishing for all types of veneer and panel work.
Detailed veneer schedules are part of our standard protocol. Whether we are creating dozens of doors, large panels, or intricate jambs, the initial cutting and grain-matching part of the process must be accurate.
Daiek craftsmen assemble veneers into stile & rail faces when flitch stock veneer faces are specified. The next step will be to apply adhesive and register the face on the door component assembly and hot press.
These doors have come from the veneer press and are stacked for trimming, pre-fit and bevel and hardware machining. Each surface is carefully examined for a perfect finish.
This set of doors has been cross banded and is ready for the assembled flitch stock veneer face. Next it will be cut to exact length.
Veneers are carefully chosen for grain and color to enhance design elements and celebrate the beauty of the materials.
A fine example of how well-chosen and finely-finished veneers and solids work together on a recent door project.
Precision machining at every step in the process ensures consistent results.
